The Virginia Living Museum celebrates and showcases the unique natural wonders to be found in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Visitors have access to a wildlife park with native species, a science museum, an aquarium, and a planetarium. All the state's terrains and habitats are represented, from the Appalachian Mountains to the Atlantic coast. The museum resides in the lower part of Newport News, just south of the Newport News-Williamsburg Airport on Highway 17.
